The conference „Intercultural Education Landscape: Migrant Self-Organizations and Daycare Institutions in Dialogue“ took place on November 24, 2017 in the Volkshaus in Dresden.
The conference provided an opportunity for migrant self-organisations, daycare facilities, as well as representatives of educational und culture institutions of Dresden to get to know each other in person
and exchange some knowledge.
Such topics as „Language diversity in daycare institutions: promoting the second language through recognition and appreciation of the first language“ and
„Exchange about upbringing expectations in contact and cooperation with migrant families“ were discussed by the participants of the workshops;
Ideas for the future cooperation in the sphere of integration have been developed and collected.
